Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
Dr. Seuss
I love, love, love Dr. Seuss!
In honor of Ted Geisel's birthday, my friend Shelly Goldstein pays homage with a story she's written about gay marriage. She's wicked clever and one of the most talented people I know.
At the end of the day Dr. Seuss is about love for all, all the time, and I think he would have enjoyed Shelly's story (remember the Sneetches? Dr. Seuss very eloquently illustrated the downside of exclusionary politics).
Happy Birthday Dr. S!
